Every month Napa Valley TV showcases new programs airing on Channels 27 & 28.  We always welcome new programming and hope to see your program on our "Highlights" page soon!

New programs airing on Channel 27 in the month of MAY 2012:

·         "VOHS - Where Everything is Connected!"- Hosted by Principle of Valley Oak High School, Maria Cisneros, this program discusses the education and programs that are going on at VOHS, and how they help prepare students for the future.  This program currently airs Sundays at 6pm, Tuesdays at 8:30pm and Thursdays at 7pm.

·         "iPad for Beginners Workshop (NCOE)" - New to your iPad and not sure where to start? This presentation by NCOE will help you become familiar with your iPad and its' many features. This program currently airs Sundays at 6:30pm, Tuesdays at 9pm and Thursdays at 7:30pm.

·         "Responding vs Reacting With Your Kids" - Charlie Appelstein, M.S.W discusses key strength-based principles and techniques for effective parenting in this 90 minute presentation.  This program currently airs Mondays at 6pm, Wednesdays at 8pm and Saturdays at 6:30pm.


New programs airing on Channel 28 in the month of MAY 2012: 

·         "The Characteristics of Gifted Learners" -  A presentation by Dan Peters, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, is Co-Founder and Clinical Director of the Summit Center, specializing in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and families, with special emphasis on gifted children and their families.  He is committed to helping the gifted youth reach their developmental potentials.  This program currently airs Mondays at 10am and Saturdays at 5pm.

·         "Taming the Worry Monster" -  A second presentation by Dan Peters, Ph.D., speaking about helping children and parents overcome anxiety.  He is committed to educating individuals, families, schools, and communities about how to keep the "worry monster" away so children can maximize their developmental potentials.  This program currently Sundays at 5pm and Thursdays at 12pm.

·         "Reach for the Stars 2012" - An annual Queen of the Valley Foundation Benefit helping to raise money.  This program currently airs Mondays at 5pm and Saturdays at 12pm.

·         "Distinguished Young Women (Napa Valley Junior Miss 2013)" - Join Napa Valley’s Junior Miss Scholarship program for an evening of music, fun and entertainment as some of the most talented young women in Napa Valley compete for over $9,000 in scholarships.  Watch as participants demonstrate their talent, fitness, and self expression.  This program currently airs Thursdays at 1pm and Saturdays at 9:30am.
